Theatre Cameleon fathermotherchild played two shows in 2001 for Theatre Cameleon Amsterdam. (Take the number 2 tram down Overtoom then north along the wide canal to this once abandoned grand venue.) Stage production by Ken Parsons. Sound by Valentine who also engineered the live track "Sea and Sand" featuring dazzling Geert Sluyter on djembe. |

PAST EVENTS: We play the outdoor stage Rijkshemelvaart (5 performance spaces plus more and 3000 guests) while baby and friends perform tricycle stunts. Solo shows by Gabriel Jones, Ken Parsons and 7 piece skank jazz troupe "The Last Attraction". Meet again my friend from the restaurant. Her corgi cross favours the reggae canyon. Also neon dance theatre with evening shower of tower top percussion from fabulous Gabriel Jones in orange tee shirt trousers. |

Ruigoord floats beneath Amsterdam Harbour.
Talented residents squatted an entire village and installed a piano bar
and public art amongst wild chooks and horse paddocks. Also provide cash
and crowds for local and international artists, musicians and djs at a multitude
of cultural events with monthly full moon trance parties. fathermotherchild were invited to close Ruigoord's three day Poetry Festival in the Kirk - and again for big top extravaganza Land Jewel. Outstanding exhibition at this summer tent event was giant wind chime Buddha whose blessing was best visible 50 yards away. Fantastic. |
